Brow Facts and Questions

WHAT IS WAXING?

Soft wax is used as a semi-permanent hair removal. Results are immediate and will help you maintain your desired shape.

WHAT IS TINTING?

A high-quality semi-permanent dye is used to enhance your brow shape, colour and thickness. Results are immediate and can last up to 3 weeks. The amount of hair you have and your skin type will affect the longevity of your tint.  Pigments and oxidants are vegan and cruelty-free.

WHAT IS SCULPTING?

Depending on your results. your technician may add pomade or powder and apply on the eyebrows which creates a more defined fuller look. Followed by a highlighter for a  contoured finish.

WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Microblading is a form of semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that creates hair-like strokes to give the appearance of a fuller more natural brow.  Using a pen-like tool, appose to a machine, will implant pigment in the skin. Topical anesthetic will be applied to the area to minimize any discomfort.

WHAT IS SHADING?

Manual Shading is a semi-permanent cosmetic technique that gives eyebrows a fuller look without the use of makeup. It involves combining microblading strokes with brow shading powder to create a denser, fuller eyebrow appearance.  Shading gives the illusion of a more even eyebrow

WHAT IS MANUAL SHADING GOOD FOR?

Clients who have alopecia or who have have very thin brows or very little eyebrow hair. Clients who have an inconsistent distribution of hair throughout their brows (such as a dense amount of hair at the head of the brow, but little hair at the tail of the brow).

DO SEMI-PERMANENT BROWS HURT?

Every person’s pain tolerance is different…

A numbing cream is applied to the eyebrows prior to the procedure to limit any discomfort. Most clients feel little to no pain while some clients may experience a minimal amount of pain. You are more than welcome to take ONLY Tylenol prior to your procedure.
