What are Eyelash Extensions?

Eyelash Extensions lengthen and thicken your own natural lashes. They are single strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural lash. They are applied to each individual eyelash with a specially designed bonding agent for a natural, beautiful and luscious look.Eyelash Extensions are perfect for that special occasion or for day-to-day wear. They are virtually weightless and when done properly by a certified eyelash technician will not damage your natural lash so you can choose to wear them permanently.

Will extensions ruin my natural lashes?

Not at all! Our eyelash extensions are applied on your own natural eyelashes one by one (without touching the skin) with an specially designed bonding agent developed exclusively for eyelash extensions. This new technique is not harmful to your natural eyelashes. The adhesive dries very soft on lashes allowing flexibility and comfort

How long can I wear them for?

Unlike other products, you don’t need to “take a break” with ours. With regular fills, you can keep your gorgeous new look for as long as you like!

How do I care for my new lashes?

·         Avoid hot steam or sauna

·         Avoid running water directly on your lashes

·         Do not rub your eyes

·         Do not use oil based makeup products on or around your eyes

·         Do not perm your lashes

·         Do not use a mechanical eyelash curler

·         Do not pull on your lashes (this may cause your natural lashes to come out prematurely)

Can I swim, shower and exercise with my new lashes?

Yes! Our lashes are “hot yoga proof!” The bonding agent we use is waterproof and allows you to shower, swim, exercise etc.  We do recommend however that you do not do these things for approximately 24 hours after the eyelash application.

Will my natural lashes fall out?

It’s normal for your lashes to fall out. Just like your hair, your lashes have a natural life cycle – every day you lose 3-5 lashes per eye – and new ones grow in to replace them. When you come in for a fill, we will attach extensions to your new lashes.

How often do I need to get them filled?

We recommend getting a fill every 3 weeks – depending on how quickly your lashes grow and the environment your in and activities you're participating in.  If you wait too long between fills, you will require another full set.

Can eyelash extensions be removed?

Yes, at any time for any reason! If you have had an improper eyelash extension application somewhere other than Bella Lash!, or simply wish to remove them, we provide that service here at the studio. It is a simple procedure that doesn't take long and we have a specially formulated removal solution that will break down the glue and safely remove your extensions without damaging your natural lash.

Please do not attempt to remove the lash extensions yourself as this will cause premature pulling out of your natural lashes.

Can anyone get extensions?

Anyone of any age (18+ or with consent) can have eyelash extensions applied as long as there is a natural lash to glue the extension onto. Ladies who have undergone chemotherapy (and their lashes are starting to grow back) are a great candidate as well as people who wear contact lenses and glasses.

however if you have an eye infection or have recently undergone an eye operation or cosmetic eye surgery it would be best to wait until the eye area has fully healed

Can I get eyelash extensions for a trip?

Yes! Eyelash extensions are ideal for trips and vacations. However you will have to book your appointment at least 24hrs before you arrive, because the adhesive needs a chance to set before you are exposed to any water or heat.

Can I wear makeup/moisturizers with my extensions?

Yes, but when using any makeup products around your eyes make sure you are using "oil free" makeup, things like eyeliner (non waterproof) eyeshadows and lid primers, face cleansers and moisturizers. foundations and setting sprays etc. Mascara is not necessary, it is extremely difficult to completely remove and can result in a bacteria infection if not cleaned properly. If you do feel the need to wear mascara make sure it is not waterproof and is oil free.

when coming in for a fullset or fill make sure your eyes are free of any makeup. removal of makeup takes up application time.
