Waxing removes hair directly from the root causing hair to grow back slower, thinner and more sparse. Waxing can also solve problems with ingrown hairs and razor burn. Shaving cuts the hair off directly at skin level causing hair to grow back quicker and the thickness of the hair will remain the same.
If you’ve allowed your hair to properly grow out prior to your appointment you should see no hair growth for 1-2 weeks. At the 3rd and (preferably) 4th week you’re ready for another wax!
Waxing will cause the exact opposite of that! After being waxed you should notice your hair coming in thinner and more sparse. The more regular you become with waxing the better results you will see.
